COP KILLER

(Note: This isn't so much about cops as it is about the First Amendment! I wrote it in protest of Cops going on strike to have Ice Tee's song by the same name pulled from record stores, which I saw as a dangerously serious abridgment of First Amendment - especially for an entire class of persons sworn to uphold the Constitution!!! bg)
WAITAMINIT!

Thirteen lucky years since I penned these infamous words, cops keep breaking more and more and more and more and more laws, they increasingly violate the civil rights of American citizens, and use the tactics and weapons of military warfare against the American people...that's TREASON, boys and girls!

So make NO MISTAKE about it; this song IS about corrupt cops and bullies with Badges - and anyone else (Judges, prosecutors, senators, congresspersons, etc, etc, etc) who are in a position of authority which they misuse, abuse, or use to their own advantage over WE, THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!

Put aside the pain and the grief between you and me,
We got to unite against the one common enemy!

When you can't believe the teevee news crew,
and a jury of your peers says, "screw you!"
This whole land could ignite just like matches;
We got to stop the gang with the badges!

There's no civil rights and there's no Constitution,
the cops are the problem, not the solution!
They choke on doughnuts, we choke on polution.
What this country needs is a good revolution!

Corrupt city cop and corrupt county mounty,
hide behind the elephant and donkey,
like we don't know they're all funkin' nazzis;
On their heads there should be a bounty!

A bad attitude runs all through our government,
from the cop on the beat on up to the President,
they got hands in the till to steal every red cent!
The only good cop is a stain on the pavement!

Put aside the pain and the grief between you and me,
We got to unite against the one common enemy!

Don't hide arms,
wear sidearms!
